Well, to be honest, I’m not 100% sure it’s Buddha, it could as well be Kannon, my knowledge of the Buddhist pantheon is very more than incomplete. In any case, what I’m sure is that this statue can be found in the Hōsen-ji in downtown Takamatsu.

Usually on this blog, I tend to show you rural temples, but once in a while city temples can be interesting too. Although to be honest, I haven’t visited it, I just love the statue with that building as a background.
