About me and this blog

Born in the French South-West, in the 70's, nothing predisposed me to be interested in Japan. Yet, this is exactly what happened when I met the one that was going to become my wife and when I discovered her home area, Shikoku! As a consequence -among other things- this blog. While dealing with Japan in general, it mostly focuses on Shikoku, Kagawa and the Seto Inland Sea. I hope you enjoy it, and that it allows you to discover, at least a little bit, this region that is too often overlooked when people think about this fascinating country.
