This is what 華’s pediatrician’s waiting room looks like:

Ultraman, Godzilla and Dinosaur figurines on a shelf

And it’s pretty much the same in his office (I just didn’t dare to take pictures, maybe when I know him better).

This is Japan!

Actually, this made me realize that I should get a Godzilla figurine one of these days. I don’t know about you, but for many years it has been some sort of ongoing joke with friends; that the one thing to bring back from a trip to Japan is a Godzilla figurine (yes, I’m from that generation that used to associate Japan with Godzilla, Samurai, Ninjas and such). Believe it or not, I have been in Japan for almost a year and I still haven’t got a Godzilla figurine.

Giving it more thought, I started to shop around and found the perfect one! However, it costs about 4,000 yen, which is a tadbit expensive for what is basically a gimmick. I guess I could get the very cheap one, but it’s kinda  tacky (on the other hand, this is Godzilla we’re talking about). Just in case, now is a good time to inform you that I accept any kind of donation. :-)

    • Japanese ebay? But it’s all in Japanese!!! :-) (it’s gonna take a while before I can use Japanese websites).
The current plan is to way until Christmas for the decent but pricey one, but if I run into the cheap and tacky one before, I may just get it.
