For the past few days, I swamped you with long posts full of text and no pictures (except for a few found on Wikimedia) so for my next two stops of that first full day in Japan (May 19th, 2009) my words will be scarce.

Let’s start with my first visit to Ritsurin Garden, one of Takamatsu’s jewels. There are many things to say about the garden, but it will be for another day, today, it’s pictures (and videos) only.
Enjoy.

    • Yes, Ritsurin Koen is the one thing not to miss when visiting Shikoku.
I’ll have more pictures coming (not mentioning the ones I’ll take next week).
And no, I haven’t started packing yet (I’m a last minute packer) ;-)

  2. The turtles are super cute!!!

  3. Wow, a feast for the eyes. I like the first shot, how the light is streaming in. Looks very peaceful.

  4. Lovely place. Went there last summer and recognise the turtles and beautiful herons. Nice writeup.
