Farther Memory is Chiharu Shiota‘s contribution to the Setouchi International Art Festival 2010. It was available for viewing until last month in the village of Kō on Teshima. It recently closed along with other Art Setouchi’s artworks. I’m really not sure whether it will reopen this coming Spring

If you don’t mind the heat that will most likely be present, August is the perfect month to visit Art Setouchi, as many of the artworks are open longer than usual because of Obon, and many events and activities will be held. I won’t be able to list them all
