With the current heat (35° for the past two days), I wish I could spend my days on a beach somewhere. Why not Naoshima‘s Benesse House Park & Beach, it’s not that far after all?

I can see why you want a dip in the sea. That’s warm. France is on the chilly side this summer although we’ve had a few nice days here, up to about 33 degrees. That’s 53 degrees warmer than it was six months ago!

Yes, I’m tracking the temperatures at home and they’re not much lower than here.
However, the humidity does make a difference.
Also, what’s the most “depressing” here is that despite the fact that it’s summer, life goes on just like every other moment of the year. Summer doesn’t have that special mood/atmosphere/feeling that France (and Europe in general?) has. I realize that I really miss it.
